Previous Projects Include:
1) Improved marketing campaigns via patient engagement and segmentation for a healthcare advertising agency. Our results: expanded segmentation capabilities from less than 10% to 100% of the given patient population and identified over 10 actions that significantly improve engagement.
2) Enhanced assessments of readmission risk using tree ensemble techniques for a world-renowned academic medical center. Our results: identified 4 actions to improve execution of readmission prevention system and employed model that accurately predicts 7-day readmissions 85% of the time.
3) Assessed the feasibility and potential market opportunity of using a synthetic data platform to analyze patient records and avoid HIPAA regulations. Our work included developing implementation guidelines, conducting primary research to see what industries were willing to pay, and proposing recommendations for next steps.
